 SANYO Electric Trading Co., Ltd. established.
1961 Local electric appliance sales subsidiaries for SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. successively established in Japan.
1961-1963 Sales subsidiaries established in America, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan.
1965
 Export of color TVs started.
1966 SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. and SANYO Electric Trading Co., Ltd. certified as Contributors to Exports for three consecutive years.
1967-1973 Sales subsidiaries established in UK, Thailand, Spain and Australia.
1973 Hong Kong radios imported into Japan as first import of finished products.
1976-1978
 Sales subsidiaries established in Germany and Italy.
1980 Locally incorporated company established in Argentina.
1981 Sixty-eight local electric appliances sales subsidiaries regrouped into 10 organizations.
1984 Import of wine and other liquors initiated to increase import business.
1984 SANYO Electric Sikoku Sales Co., Ltd. merged into SANYO Electric Kinki Sales Co., Ltd. (Followed by the promotion of local electric subsidiary mergers until 1990.)
1990 SANYO Electric Sales Headquarters and 7 sales subsidiaries merged, becoming SANYO Life Electronics Co., Ltd. established and taking over sales in Japan.
1995 Mobile communications company SANYO Telecommunications Co., Ltd. established in Japan.
1997 Branch offices established in Singapore and Dubai (UAE) to centralize control of sales subsidiaries and distributors in Asia and the Middle East.
1999 SANYO Living Supply Co., Ltd. established to intensify sales to Japanese companies.
2000 Marketing to Japanese mass-sales stores transferred to SANYO Electric Co., Ltd.
